Transformers
This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month and is intended for 18-28 year-olds, although others are welcome.
You might be interested if:
- You want to learn how to study the bible for yourself. We will practice digging in to the bible and seeking the treasures God put in there. You don’t need to be a genius, but expect about an hour of homework between sessions. We will also discuss small group leadership skills
- You want to find out how you might become more involved in the lives of others in the body. We’ll call this part of the program: Bridge Mix. Sometimes it is tough to find a ‘bridge” to others in different age groups, especially those elusive empty nesters! Eventually we may host an event for the rest of the church a couple of times a year.
The name of the group is Transformers. We realize that it may be a little early for this word to be considered ‘retro’ but what can we say other than we are ahead of our time! The idea for the name comes from this verse:
Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.
