Let-Us Fellowship |
| Introduction |
When we started up small groups, we selected a theme passage:
Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-- and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Thus, we began calling it the "let-us fellowship". (an unusual name, but it stuck).
Newcomers are always welcome! It's a great way to get to know people.

Both groups meet on Sunday Evenings, every Sunday.

| Other notes & motivating factors |
| 1) Sunday morning does not provide opportunity to get to know others in the church well. It's a worship service, not a fellowship hour. A small group is a better way to get to know people. BBF does not have an evening church service, so this time was selected to spend time with our church "family".
2) There are good existing opportunities for prayer groups, bible study groups, and fellowship activities, but "let-us" fellowships were designed to contain all of these elements. The format is informal.
3) The church has many good ministries for specific people (Men's groups and Women's groups, youth, etc) but we wanted something that would be available to all people (young, old, married, single, ...) and include the whole family.
